Job Description: As a Quality Analyst at SMDB, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and validate product functionality
• Conducting thorough and systematic testing of software applications, systems, or processes to identify bugs, defects, or areas for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and ensure quality deliverables
• Analyzing test results and defect data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of quality issues, and recommending corrective actions or process improvements
• Participating in project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to provide quality insights and feedback throughout the development lifecycle
• Documenting test processes, findings, and recommendations to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a Quality Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role in a relevant industry
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles
• Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as test management systems, automated testing frameworks, and defect tracking systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB, ASQ) preferred
