Job Description: As a Data Analyst at SMDB, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support informed decision-making across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Analyzing large datasets using statistical techniques, data mining, and visualization tools to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, product managers, and data engineers, to define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to address specific business questions or challenges
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data-driven insights
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
